🎨 WCHS Highlander Senior Parking Spots 🎨
WCHS Student Council, led by Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Beth Roberts, are selling Senior Parking Spots for $25 each as a Student Council fundraiser. As we approach the 2024-2025 school year, here’s important information about this fundraiser.
🔹 Only those upcoming seniors who have completed and signed the Student Council Parking Spot form, turned it in directly to Mr. or Mrs. Roberts, and directly paid Mr. or Mrs. Roberts for their specific numbered spot, may begin painting their designated parking spot.
🔹 Spots are still available! Seniors who have not yet purchased a spot can still do so. Contact Mr. or Mrs. Roberts to secure your spot. For those who have already met all of the above criteria, here are some of the guidelines as outlined in the forms senior students and parents signed when purchasing their spot:
Adhere to school policies: Students must follow all applicable school policies when decorating/painting their parking spots.
Provide own materials: Students must bring their own materials to paint their spots.
Clean up: Students are required to clean up their area after painting (paint, brushes, garbage, tape, etc.).
Respect boundaries: Do not cover the YELLOW divider LINES and leave a 4-inch space between your paint and the yellow parking lines.
Keep numbers visible: Do not cover up your assigned parking spot NUMBER when painting.
Appropriate decorations: No profanity, obscene drawings, or inappropriate items. No offensive pictures or symbols, negative language, or references to drugs, alcohol, or firearms – per school policy.
Permitted Materials:
Exterior all-weather, water-based paint
Paint Brushes or Rollers
Paint Can Opener and Stir Sticks
Paint Trays and Tape
Broom (to sweep your spot before painting)
Chalk (to sketch your design before painting)
Cloths, Towels, Newspaper, Cardboard
Trash Bag (to clean up your trash after painting)
Prohibited Materials (NOT allowed):
Oil-Based Paints
Raised Paint
Spray Paint or Paint Sprayers
Glitter or Textured Paint
Reflective Paints or Fluorescent Paint
Clear Coat or Sealants
Get creative and make your mark, but remember to follow the guidelines to keep our WCHS Highlander environment clean, positive, and respectful! 🅿️✨
